Densit & Vestech Sign MoU16/11/2018
The ITW brand Densit® has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the Taiwanese company Vestech to jointly contribute to the development of offshore wind energy in Taiwan.
Vestech is highly experienced in sustainable energy solutions and have been part of many wind power construction projects. Densit and Vestech have been working together for many years on wear and abrasion solutions in Taiwan and the MoU is a natural next step in an already strong working relationship.
The MoU is the first step to combining Densit’s many years of experience in the European offshore wind industry and Vestech’s extensive experience with sustainable energy projects in and around Taiwan. Together, the two companies aim to become a strong partner for offshore wind projects in Taiwan and to help accomplish the country’s ambitious target of reaching 5.5GW in offshore wind by 2025.
“The MoU is just the first step of our future collaboration with Vestech and efforts in the Taiwanese wind sector. We will look to creating a local content plan together with Vestech and expand our hard work here in Taiwan” Sarah Hobson, Offshore sales manager ITW Performance Polymers said at the MoU signing.
